Mandy Gordines is a licensed acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine herbalist, and a therapeutic massage therapist with a practice in Kauai, Hawaii.  Mandy is licensed in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the states of Hawaii and  California and is a licensed Massage Therapist in Hawaii.  She is a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine certified by the NCCAOM and American Acupuncture Council. 

Mandy has a certification in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture in Santa Monica, California. This additional variation of acupuncture therapy is, a  remarkable 3000-year-old Chinese tradition.

Mandy holds a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine earned from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. Her base training of over 3,500 hours at Pacific College includes extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine theory/acupuncture, orthopedic style acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion therapy, and Tui-Na.  She served on various Internships/Externships with highly regarded Acupuncturists from China and the U.S.  Her rotations include integrative medical setting such as the UCSD Free Clinic Project in Downtown San Diego, and the San Diego Hospice for Palliative Care.

She also has advanced training in various massage modalities including Hawaiian Lomi lomi massage, deep tissue sports massage, Craniosacral therapy, Shiatsu, and pregnancy massage.  Her treatments are individually customized to give each client a great massage. 

She aims to recondition the body, rehabilitate injury and promote relaxation while increasing mental alertness. Continued treatments can enhance body awareness and healthy function of the body systems.

In addition to her training in Eastern and Western medicine, Mandy has a Premed Bachelors Degree in Biology from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE.   She moved to Kauai with an internship at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens and met her husband, Hoku.  Mandy also studied massage in Kauai and later worked at the Anara Spa in Poipu, HI and Mirabella Mansori Day Spa in Solana Beach, CA.

Hoku and Mandy moved to San Diego and studied with many respected and well known healers.  They are back on their little island of Kauai.  Please come and visit us for some therapeutic treatments.
